Monica Cascio was born in Budapest, Hungary but have spent most of her life growing up in Texas. She has over 20 years of drawing and painting experience. She has majored in art studies in high school and pursued a Fine Art degree in East Texas concentrating in painting and photography/graphic arts. She finished art degree at Fredericksburg Artist’s School near Austin, Texas. She studied under artists such as Lois Griffel (author of Painting the Impressionist Landscape), Ron Rencher, and David Leffel.
